Maybe not, but we may have Sir. James Dyson to thank when “The Blue Box” becomes available. The International 2020 James Dyson Award was recently awarded to 23-year-old Judit Giró Benet, the mind behind The Blue Box – a new way to detect breast cancer, at-home, using just a urine sample. The Blue Box is the answer to a teenager’s question – “what do animals smell when they alert their owners to breast cancer?” Dyson’s award gave ‘creds’ to a £60 product showing the promise of 95% accuracy.
